General Information :
1. This is a competitive virtual event on indoor cycle trainers.
2. Registrations fees is Rs 300/- only. And registration must be done online at
http://www.cyclezoneindia.com
3. There will be total 32 participants in 8 different groups. Four participants
in each group.
4. There will be 4 levels of virtual ride. Levels are as follows
1. League Round
2. Quater Finals
3. Semi Finals
4. Final Round
5. There will be total three matches for Final Round.
6. First final match will decide top 2 positions & bottom two positions.
7. Second final match will have top 2 participants from 1
st final and will decide over all 1st and 2nd position.
8. Third final match will have bottom two participants from 1
st final and will decide over all 3rd and 4th position.
9. Top three winner will receive winning trophies & surprise gifts.
10. All participants of this will event will receive a certificate of participation.
11. Member of each group will ride together on a virtual route. Out of four,
top two riders will be moved to next level.
12. After registration, groups will be formed randomly.
13. Rider must ride on a road bike and each rider need to bring their own bike
at the time of match. Arrangement for few road bikes can be done, but you
need to confirm it before registering for this event.
14. There will be different routes for each level. However, for specific level
every rider will be riding on same route.
15. Route will be decided by Event Director.
16. For each match riders will get fixed time or fixed KM to ride.
17. Leage Rounds will be completed before Diwali and remaining levels will
be conducted after Diwali.
18. All riders must present 15 minutes prior to start of event. Each group will
be informed day and time of their turn.
19. Each match will be of 1 hour long. 30 minutes for bike and gazette setup
and approximately 30 minutes for ride.
20. Results will be declared at the end of each event.
21. In case of any dispute, decision of Event Director will be final.
22. Venue of event will be New CycleZone & Schedule for league round can
be found at the end of this document. Schedule for all other round will be
declared later.
23. Registrations are on first come first serve basis and will be closed once
there are 32 participants.
24. Registrations will be reviewed and approved. If approved you will be
notified. If your registration is not approved, your registration fees will be
refunded.
25. In any other case registrations fees are not refundable & non-transferable.
26. Each participant must sign waiver form before the start of event.
Route & Ride Related Information:
1. Each participant must be present as per allotted time.
2. Failing to arrive on time or in case of no show, rider will be disqualified
and will not be allowed to participate in next round. Riders will not be
allowed to reshuffled or rescheduled their turn. (No refunds of fees in case
of late arrival or no show.)
3. Match may be rescheduled in case of technical issues only.
4. Each participant must download “MyWhoosh” virtual cycling app in their
own mobile phones and must bring phone at the time of event.
5. There will be different routes for all four rounds with different level of
difficulties.
6. One can connect “MyWhoosh” account to your “Strava” account if you
wish your ride to appear on “Strava”. This can be only done on
“MyWhoosh” website, it cannot be done through mobile application.
7. Hydration will be provided during and at the end of match, however rider
must bring their own water bottles (preferably two bottles).
8. Shoes with cleats are not allowed. Normal sports shoes must be worn
during each match.
Steps to follow before start of ride:
1. Check if “Strava” is connect to “MyWhoosh” app.
2. User profile of each rider will be checked & updated if required.
3. Weight & Height of each rider will be measured and will be feed into
“MyWhoosh” user profile.
4. Gradient Difficult Level must be set to at least 50%.
5. Check Wheel Circumference in “MyWhoosh” & it must be set to 2133mm
6. Calibration of trainer will be performed before the start of each race.
7. Rider starts paddling only after Go signal is given.
8. Rider must stop paddling whenever stop signal is given.
9. At the end of match, Event Director will check the distance and time to
declare the winner of that particular match.
